Let's start with those 4 CDs and why I hold them so close to my heart
#1 Led Zeppelins IV
In my opinion probably one of the best albums ever cut by Zep... songs like misty mt hop and when the levees break bring this album to life. Robert Plants guitar playing really shines and John Bonham beats the hell out those drums.
#2 The Beatles Sargent Peppers Lonley Hearts Club Band
A fantastic album and still remains to be one of a hand full that I can listen from beginning to end. There's something about the lore behind the Beatles and all the "demonic" reversal shit. I think as an introduction to the British invasion this album is a must.
#3 Greenday's International Superhits
Hah, finally some 90s music, I love this album.
Part well know radio hits and part likely ignored gems. I sat for months blasting this album till I knew every line...
#4 Nirvana's Nevermind
The most well known Nirvana album ever. I went from thinking I knew what music was to having my mind blown (no stab at Kurt intended). This album ended up becoming my soundtrack for high school. Songs like "Breed" and "In Bloom" took on a whole new meaning. I still to this day look forward to any of the 12 songs coming on in my car.
These 4 albums started an obession and thirst for music thats never been tamed. Yeah Dark Side Of The Moon would have rounded this list out but hey a 12 year old kid can only take so much musical assault in at one time.
